Over the last couple years I have been involved both in front of and behind the camera on several local independent film projects. I'm a pretty laid back person and can't stand the drama that some people bring with them. I recall a personality test stating that I build very few relationships, but they tend to be very strong. That's pretty dead on in my opinion. Retired in 2003 from 40+ years in the computer software support field. Hobbies include growing and harvesting trees for lumber, furniture and cabinet building, and bicycling about 1,500 miles per year.
I seem to get my tangue all tungled up when I try to describe myself, but I'll give it a try. Conservative, but not in the sense of that word as used by the political scene. I believe in the "old values", based on the importance of a good education, a solid work ethic, living within one's financial means, treating women as ladies and not as objects to be conquered. In social situations, I'm more comfortable in small gatherings rather than large groups. I'm analytical, yet still manage to do things at times that leave me telling myself "now that was really stupid". I'm not adverse to laughing at myself, in fact will share some of my blunders. I'm slow to open myself up to people I meet, which some take as being cold. Once I get to know someone, I tend to form close and lasting friendships. I have a strong sense of what I believe in, yet I'm willing to accept that others don't share my views. I like a variety of things. who doesn't? I'm a big gamer so I would like to find a woman that likes to play video games as well. Saturday nights i get together with friends to play PnP games and sometimes we do other board games. I haven't traveled much in my life but I would like to. I've been to Wisconsin like most people who live in the twin cities. I've also been to Texas when i was younger and got to go to the Alamo. The other place i have been was Mexico, I was down there for two weeks and i want to go back some day. I'm also a terrible speller, luckily for me computers were invented or I would be screwed. I'm decent at bowling as i was in junior leagues for something like 8 years. I like to deer hunt and I go up to my uncles every year to hunt with him.

You will also see I only have a few questions answered that are political questions and that is because I hate politics. I do have some opinions on some topics but for the most part i try to stay away from it. But feel free to ask me my view on something if you like.

Also if there is a question we disagree on ask me about it. There are some that I would have chosen more than 1 answer if I could because I though they were equally important or it was the best of the options they gave.

I rarely spent time on here, and I don't understand half of the fuctions yet.

I randomly fade in and out of communications here because I got bored with it, but recently became single, and will be working on motivating myself to do something about it.

I spent 3 years being single, and pretty much used that time to figure out what I want. I am looking for somebody to spend time with a 2-4 nights a week; maybe 5 if you're lucky. I am pretty independant, and I like many things in my life, so I am not looking to give them up for some guy, but rather to find a guy that might fit comfortably into them.

One day I hope to write a book, and own my own hotel or inn. Hell maybe I'll even be so cheesy as to have a bed and breakfast. (somebody please slap me lol)

But until my time comes I'll be the girl laughing at the corner bar with a few friends wearing no make-up and some silly high heels (they are silly because I am 5'10" fyi and just a heads up... i like tall guys)

I work with disabled adults and love my job. When I am not at work I like to do a lot of different things depending on my mood. My hobbies are many, here are just a few; drawing, painting, photography, reading, crossword puzzles, triva games, cards, raquetball, lifting weights, martial arts, mountainbiking, downhill skiing, bowling, movies, documentaries, politics(I am liberal), intellectual conversations, history, museums, comedy clubs, live bands (NOT country), music, tattoos, piercings, hiking, gardening, thunderstorms, stargazing, animals, and last but most important children. I have two daughters who are with me every other weekend.

honestly i hate filling out this part b/c i never know what to say. i am human so i do make mistakes... about 4 months ago me and my x split up and im now a single mother with 3 kids(2 living with me) ages are 6,4 and 3. my babies mean the world to me. i am fun and outgoing. love to cuddle up watching a movie, or go out to a bar and hang out. I love the outdoors, nature walks, camping, fishing and yes even hunting and trapping. I'm really not a girly girl either lol. I would rather be in jeans and a t-shirt then a dress.

What's happening? I am a father of one who works for a school, plays in a band and is looking forward to the endless possibilities life provides. I enjoy the company of good folks, and have adapted the attitude that I have not made enough friends yet. My wild child days are long gone but I still have a mischevious streak. To level with you, I am pretty crappy at going on and on about myself...

Isn't this what dates are for, to learn about someone? I have a hard time cleverly and wholly describing myself in person, let alone online.I won't let go of the belief that men and women should still meet and learn about each other the old fashioned way--in person. Well, I guess I caved, sort of. I try to spend little time on the internet. There's food to cook, a book to read, a wrestling match to be had (w/my son), things to do, people to see, zzzs to catch.

I'm considerate, nice, smart, funny, sassy and have strong beliefs about important things and could give a hoot about others. I'm not materialistic. I think family and enjoying the simple things are the most important things in life. I want to meet a man that I connect with mentally and physically to share my life with and to be a father to my son, because his is not. That's all I'm going to write.
